i was fooling about, of which i really shouldn't, created these wine bottles. i would LOVE to design fun stuff like this. i'm also bidding on a pair of shoes on ebay....sssssshhhhhh!
you'd think i had nothing better to do!
i'm like this though, when i have so much on my plate, i just kinda skirt the issue until i absolutely HAVE to do it + its a major deadline. working under pressure... there's nothing like getting stuff done this way!
i know i'm going to be stretched thin this week. what with the NY stationery show only 2 weeks away. OMG!!!
SO much to do, TOO little time. anyway, i'll try my best to post every day to keep it interesting, may just post older stuff BUT will release some NEW designs to be showcased at the show in the next 2 weeks.
for now, some daisy's i did a while ago.
Contest has ended. Lily + i picked the winner today, we cut up all the names printed out + she picked ERICA! Congrats Erica and THANK YOU to all who entered with such lovely things to say.
i will be running another contest soon.
keep on checking back.
The cherry blossom (sakura) is Japan's unofficial national flower. It has been celebrated for many centuries and takes a very prominent position in Japanese culture.
There are dozens of varieties in Japan, most of which bloom for a few days in spring. The Japanese celebrate this time of the year with hanami (cherry blossom viewing) parties under the blooming trees.
i am really lucky to have my very own cherry tree just outside my window. she is in full bloom right now, so fleeting, i thought i should capture the moment with these pictures + then naturally a design to follow. i luv it!
footnote: for your own bit of Cherry Blossom style, see our mini handmade Chiyogami notebooks now in Anthropologie.

as promised last week, here is the give away surprise.
1 prize pack of 100% recycled ecojot products worth about $50 retail. includes a set of file folders, an agenda (which is perpetual - you fill in the dates), a set of workbooks + a couple of mini notebooks thrown in for good measure. for a chance to win, just leave me a comment on the blog.
contest closes Friday May 2nd. good luck!
